Mobile client - selfoss support forum

Hi,

What your opinion about native mobile client for android?
I want feature for offline read. Maybe you will convert api to google reader api? And other developers (justreader, feedme, gReader) will append sellfos.

According to older blog entries, there must have been an Android client some time ago, but I don't know what happened to it.

I have programmed an Android app for selfoss 1.0. But it based on jquery mobile in phonegap and don't worked very well. I plan to programm a native application. But winter has to come ;)

I think googlereader-compatible api is the simpler/better way than another client. I want to have the choice: justreader, feedme, gReader and etc.

I'm using the application now for a few days and I'm quite fine with it.
For mobile I'm a complete fan of newsplus.
Maybe a good way is to have an extension there

And the framework is already there.
