wrong items paging - selfoss support forum

hi,

i have noticed that something is wrong while scrolling down to load the next page of items. it's just reloading the items of the first page.

after a little code review (in my humble opinion) i think there's a bug in daos\mysql\Items.php "public function get", that cause "$options['offset']" to not get updated with the real offset (so it always loading the same items again and again).

1. has it happened to anyone else?
2. does someone can publish a solution for that problem?

I've seen your answer to moshikish post... thanks, but I did not understand a lot :-(

Anyway that's always the same for me.
To be more specific :

In the config.ini, I've set the following parameter : items_perpage=100.
So, when I scroll down the newest items page in selfoss, I can see the first 100 items (the newest ones). And after the 100e, well... that restarts with the first, 2e, 3e... instead of the 101e, 102e...

Therefore, there is no way to see the 101e, 102e... items (without changing the items_perpage parameter).

i reviewed the method you mentioned but couldn't identify any bug?
can you tell me where you suppose one?

in my test pagination sometimes reloaded/looped after first page/items, but sometimes also after more/x-pages.

as the problem today doesn't occur, I guess the cause might be more related to caching at some level?
the error first occurred after removing some old feed items, maybe this results in inconsistency to cached data?

Just a few words to say that, for me at least, this problem has been solved by upgrading my selfoss from 2.10 to 2.12. :-)
