I'd love the see the following options added to selfoss though.

• Automatically mark as items as read once viewed (including when you press space, incidentally, I can't get the 'T' shortcut to work).
  
• Allow the default view to be set to 'unread' instead of 'recent'.
  
• Allow a default tag to be set, instead of 'all' when first loading the page.
  
• Change font size & family

Other suggestions

• more contrasting colours to make it easier to be able to separate item headers and item content. For example in google reader, when you add expand an item, the item header background goes grey.
  
• Unread item counts against tags
