Does the username/password feature not work for you? Are you trying to prevent the public from even seeing that page?

i am new to selfoss - basically did my first test-install some minutes ago.

In case i would like to prevent public access to my selfoss installation - what method would you recommend?

.htaccess? something else?
or is there any selfoss function i may have overlooked?
