I tried to add http://www.taz.de/rss.xml as RSS feed source. But selfoss isn't able to load the feed.

I get the error message:

error loading feed content: This XML document is invalid, likely due to invalid characters. XML error: XML_ERR_NAME_REQUIRED at line 125, column 25

Additionally selfoss failed to import the opml file generated by Sparse RSS (Android RSS reader).
Debug log reports: "opml import: invalid item" for every item.
