I'm trying to integrate Piwik Analytics into Selfoss but I'm struggling to add the JavaScript onclick event handler to track when I/ visitors click on a tag or source in the navigation menu.

I've followed a guide on how to sniff certain elements (e.g. #nav-sources ul tag) and insert the necessary JavaScript code but can't get it to work.

Are there any hooks or functions that I can piggy back onto or has anyone got any ideas? I know a bit about JavaScript but I'm not too confident with it either.
