Mac client App - selfoss support forum

Hi,

i've coded a client app for mac.
to try it, download the dmg here.
You just have to put your selloffs address.
it have a dock icon counter (what i'm searching for)

i'm not a programer, but try to make useful app for me and maybe useful for other, I just share it…

I am getting an error message about the URL not being a valid selfoss URL. This is even when I copy and paste my working selfoss URL directly from the browser.

I have included http:// before my address, but it still doesn't work. My URL looks like "http://rss.mywebsite.com/". I have tried both with and without the trailing slash, but it still doesn't work.

My selfoss is password protected, so maybe that's the issue. I'm guessing that your application doesn't handle passwords since I don't see username/password input fields anywhere.

Sorry for my late answer.

i think it's because of the password.
i don't have time to change my code now but you can try to remove your login and password in the selfoss config.ini.
after you enter your address in selfoss app and validate it, you put you login and password again in the ini file.
