distrowatch feed times out - selfoss support forum

I'm investigating this reader as a replacement for Google Reader. However at the very beginning the first issue :-)

URL works in browser or other readers (not a distrowatch issue) ...

On my local system the feed works correctly with selfoss. Do you have a firewall or any other IDS between the server and the web which filters this feed?

I can't say as I installed it on my webspace (Strato) ... other feeds are working fine though (osbn.de for example) ...

weird ... distrowatch worked with Tiny Tiny RSS - but this reader has other issues and is way too bloated for me ...

And I just tried Tiny Tiny RSS again and now distrowatch is also giving me an error here ...

So seems distrowatch blacklisted Strato?

Sorry to bother - but for me it looked like: TTR working - Selfoss not ... should have tried TTR before posting ... :) (maybe it does answer questions for others with the same issue though)
